As a fully-pneumatic, ATEX-compliant, small parts cleaning system, CleanSmart enables both automatic and manual cleaning of small parts, precision components, and complex workpieces in environments where flammable vapours may create a potentially explosive atmosphere (including areas classified as Zone 1). Its explosion-protected design also allows for the use of a wide range of flammable solvents and cleaning fluids, providing users with exceptional flexibility while maintaining a high level of operator safety.
Suitable cleaning fluids and solvents include Isopropyl Alcohol (also known as IPA, isopropanol, 2-propanol or propan-2-ol), MEK cleaner (also known as Methyl Ethyl Ketone, Butanone or 2-Butanone), acetone (also known as propanone or dimethyl ketone), and many other flammable or combustible industrial cleaning fluids commonly used for degreasing, surface preparation and the cleaning of paint-contaminated parts and components. CleanSmart is equally suitable for use with non-combustible, aqueous cleaning agents such as B-TEC H2O-Cleaner-RK for water-based paints, as well as VOC-reduced cleaners for solvent-based coatings, including B-TEC E2C – Easy 2 Clean.
CleanSmart’s automatic cleaning function enables time-controlled cleaning of small components, industrial parts, and precision workpieces up to approximately 300 mm in size. With the help of 24 strategically-positioned cleaning nozzles and the use of recycling cleaning fluid, CleanSmart provides effective automatic cleaning of small parts, complex geometries, and difficult-to-reach surfaces. CleanSmart can also be fitted with our proven automatic fresh-rinse system, which rinses the parts with fresh cleaning fluid at the end of the automatic cleaning cycle if the circulating fluid is heavily contaminated. This means the recycling fluid can be used for much longer, resulting in even greater savings by reducing the amount of solvent consumed.
CleanSmart also has a pump-operated brush for manual cleaning with circulating fluid, and a manual fresh-rinse nozzle for cleaning with fresh fluid only. This allows for the quick, manual cleaning of precision components, detailed assemblies, and complex workpieces with hard-to-reach areas.
The integrated B-TEC extraction system ensures hazardous vapours are extracted from the machine as soon as the lid is opened. This provides operators with the highest level of protection during both automatic and manual cleaning.
